Salah Issues Apology to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that the Egyptian forward expressed regret to the group of players after the controversy from his televised remarks.

The striker was dropped from a key Champions League match subsequent to making accusations and suggesting his connection to the head coach had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I apologise.’”
The head coach has refused to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the veteran striker.
Looking Ahead
He emphasized that the team's response was unchanged. “He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
He also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is a positive trait. “I understand there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just sit out, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
On-Field Response
Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the matches since the situation. The player is convinced the Salah's words were never meant to cause disruption.
“In moments of frustration, the source has been from a good place,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re uniting strongly, performing and on a positive run.”
